OUR CSR VISION
To inspire aspirations and achievements in the orphan children of Glen Lorne and Doboshava in Zimbabwe through education, health and wellbeing opportunities.

OUR PROJECTS MISSION
PROJECTS OBJECTIVE
Our supported projects will develop a sustainable solution to improve the health, wellbeing and educational opportunities of orphaned children in the Glen Lorne and Domboshava areas in Zimbabwe.
CORE BELIEF
We believe that sustainability encompasses not only environmental goals, but human rights goals. This necessarily includes the right to an inclusive, equitable and quality education and access to health care for all, including the poorest members of our global community.
GOAL 2023-2030
Our goal is to help complete the building of a School already underway in Domboshava and then commence the building of a Community Health Centre on the same site, adjacent to the School in Domboshava. These two sustainable capital projects are being created to directly support two orphanage projects in Zimbabwe.
The funding of the school will be maintained through a micro-capital project that will allow the funding surplus generated from the health centre along with school fees from non-orphaned students to be paid into the school as recurrent income. Non-orphaned children will also attend the school and pay fees, which will help subsidise the orphan children in the school and the healthcare clinic will generate revenue to subsidise the Glen Lorne Orphaned children project.
THE PROJECT TEAM
The Project is being delivered by The Microlend Sydney CBD Committee (SCBD). This is a Committee auspiced by the Australian charity, Microlend Australia and Committee Chair and Director of Balmain Physiotherapy and Pilates, Mr Paul Dardagan. SCBD is targeting the development of a micro-capital project in the community of Doboshava in Zimbabwe.
The Committee has been established to provide guidance, advice, leadership and
oversight of the development and implementation of two related projects, these being:
a) the completion of the building of the new school and
b) the building of a new health centre adjacent to the school in Domboshava.
The Committee has oversight of all major decisions material to the project’s success and has the authority to make decisions related to achievement of the project’s objective.
